Study for horticulture qualifications with support from expert tutors.

Explore Our Courses

At Edinburgh Garden School we offer a range of specialist online gardening courses, from introductory and leisure courses to advanced level.

All of our courses are distance learning, so when you enrol your course materials will be sent out through the post and you can work through at your own pace. No pressure! Your assigned a personal tutor who will work with you throughout your course.

How it Works

With online learning you can begin studying within hours! Online learning means that we deliver the course material to your in-box and you can then save it to your computer or print it off for reading at your leisure. You do not need to be online to work through your course material.

Distance learning is an effective, flexible way to learn. It means that you study in your own time and at your own pace.

Welcome to EGS

At Edinburgh Garden School we love gardening as much as you do! Whether you want to retrain for a new career in horticulture, earn advanced qualifications, or simply learn more about your favourite hobby, we have a course to suit your needs. All of our courses are home study, so it’s easy to fit study around work and family commitments. Edinburgh Garden School is listed as a learning provider by the Royal Horticultural Society.
