I was a little worried about studying online, as I've never completed a home study course before. I didn't know how well I'd get on with it, but there were no other college courses offering the RHS courses near me. When the first section of the course arrived I was pleased to that is was carefully planned so that it was easy to work through. The tutor feedback really encouraged me and I completed the course much more quickly than I'd expected. I'm planning to go on to complete the Level 2 Garden Planning course.
Great Experience!
I am in the last week of completing my RHS Level 3 Principles of Plant Growth, Health and Applied Propagation, and will be sitting the exams in February. The whole experience has been excellent!
I've just started revision and am working through past papers as extra assignments. This is a really useful part of of the course!
The materials were sent through promptly, and the modules were all well laid out and easy to follow.
My tutor is always quick to offer support - whenever I send an assignment or queries I receive a reply by email or phone within 24 hours, even at weekends and during the holidays.
Itis been a pleasure to take a course that I can study at my own pace and fit around family and work. It's meant I've really enjoyed it rather than feeling pressured by deadlines. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone!
Interesting and useful
I really enjoyed the course, lots of useful practical ideas and my tutor Diane helped me to plan out the best way of redesigning my own garden. My thanks to Diane!
After being made redundant I decided to take the plunge and retrain for a new career in gardening. EGS provided all the information I needed to choose the right course and I was able to work through the course material quickly. Fantastic tutor support, so I got through my certificates quickly too. Now in the process of applying for new jobs - can\'t wait!
I would and have strongly recommended an Edinburgh Garden School course to anyone looking to work in horticulture.
